With the concept of the “cosy home” in mind, the new Chanel boutique is made to look (and feel) like a residence, with an open rooms concept, so that one can walk about freely and seamlessly from one “room” or “salon” to another: Ready-to-Wear, Accessories, Shoes, Watches, and Fine Jewellery. The clever use of mirrors within the store also makes the store seem MUCH larger. The natural light that comes through via the glass windows coupled with the use of warm lighting throughout the store adds to the cosy factor, and is thus felt to be more inviting, especially for their clientele. Sofas and chairs are also strategically placed throughout the store; all made of Chanel’s signature tweed.

‘The house and the entire estate offer a beautiful contradiction of peaceful tranquillity and total privacy away from the demands of the fast paced world and yet it has everything one requires to uphold a truly modern lifestyle. The offices and staff accommodation support the running of the house, the estate and businesses. There is also space enough on the estate to install a helipad if required…Here on the Tedstone Estate the world feels more peaceful and pastoral – immerse oneself in the country lifestyle or just simply enjoy all the benefits it imbues
Tedstone Court is a grand and elegant house, every inch a beautiful home and a home in the truest sense, all encompassed within countryside that “has one of the finest views in the kingdom!” – the entire estate surely occupies a unique and precious part of England.’
